Roundhay Sketchbook Circle 2018
There are lots of reasons to get involved in this if you love art, drawing, making, collaging or just generally being creative or even a bit messy!
Open to all staff and students of any year group. This might be a great way to relax or learn something new. You don't have to be a brilliant artist just keen to have a go and are willing to spend and hour or so a month creating your sketchbook page and remember to come to the monthly meeting where you will be set your monthly challenge!
Also for the budding photographers out there we have a photographic version too!

Art & Photography London Visit 2017
Y10 and 13 enjoyed a non-stop whistle stop tour around London. Taking in some familiar sights as well as indulging in some culture at Tate Britain and Tate Modern. We took a boat trip along the Thames, braved the rain and cold to walk around and see the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, St. Paul's Cathedral and enjoyed the warmth (and popcorn) as we watched 'A Monster Calls' at the cinema on Leicester Square. Our second day took us to Shoreditch and Spitalfields market where we took a Street Art Tour led by the artists @alternativelondon along the famous Brick Lane to learn about the artists and admire their amazing works in along the walk- truly inspiring!
Year 7 Project Day
An English Cultural Garden
Year 7 students spent two days in June creating a large outdoor installation inspired by cultural patterns from around the world decorating Angle Lewin like simplified flower structures. An absolutely fabulous two days where students worked as small teams to plan, design and decorate their base shapes to contribute to a whole Year 7 group artwork.
